Disney Changes It’s Reservation Policy !

ARGH. Used to be that if you made your reservation at Disney resort- and in my case Fort Wilderness campground, it would work like this:
You paid the daily rate based on the rate of you first day of stay. So if you booked during value season, and part of your stay went into peak season, you paid value rate for entire stay.

This has changed! The rate is now daily. If you book 3 days ion value and then 4 days ion peak you pay 3 days value rate and 4 days peak rate.
This really ads up for us! I would book 14 days, with first day in last day of value.. and pay value rate for whole 2 weeks. I called on weekend and there policy has changed.

If some one knows any different- would love to hear!

[…] We just got back from long trip- 2 weeks were of which were spent at Fort Wilderness. I heard several rumours about prices for next year. We were pretty annoyed by the Fort Wilderness rate changes THIS year- were you paid a daily rate rather then the price of your first day regardless of season. […]
